VB Decompiler Editor's ReviewA decompiler for Virtual Basic programs, 'VB Decompiler' is a useful developer's tool. Its features include decompiling forms (frm and frx) and user controls (ctl) object files, disassembling native code procedures (with power Pentium Pro disassembler, supporting MMX and FPU instruction sets), a fast decompiling speed, as well as a syntax coloring in decompiled code, a string reference list, and a search engine. You can also save decompiled data to a database file.
Another feature includes full p-code decompiling (with parsing of opcodes into standard vb instructions, without the decompilation of GUID objects). You can't disassemble native code procedures with String References and API Calls (with power Pentium Pro disassembler, supporting MMX and FPU instruction sets).
Pluses: The Lite version is free.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: The version reviewed, 2.3 Lite is free and it contains only a few of all the needed components, so it appears to be more like a preview for the Pro version which is not free. It's strongly recommended that you download and use the Pro version.
